On April 1, SM Entertainment revealed that Jonghyun was involved in a minor car accident while crossing the Dongho Bridge in the early hours of the morning. The car ran into the railing and Jonghyun was sent to the emergency room.
It has already been checked that he was not driving under the influence.
In a phone call with eNEWS, SM revealed, “Jonghyun was on his way to the dorm from his parents′s house when he got into the car accident.” The staff added, “Currently, he’s being examined for a supposed nose fracture. If the results turn out to be a nose fracture, he may be hospitalized.”
When asked about SHINee’s future activities, the SM staff member replied, “Treating injuries is our first priority, so it’s difficult to say anything about activities.” SM Entertainment will decide what will happen after Jonghyun’s condition is more certain.
