MyPhone doesn't release handsets that often, but when the company does, it sure seems to make the wait worthwhile.
Consider the MyPhone A919i Duo, which is scheduled to hit stores tomorrow, April 30. On paper, the smartphone rivals the Alcatel One Touch Scribe HD. If you have read this article, you'd know that the Scribe HD is our favorite among Alcatel's newly launched devices.
The MyPhone A919i Duo is said to be powered by a MediaTek MT6589 chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor. That's impressive enough as it is, but throw in a 5-inch 720p IPS-LCD display; PowerVR SGX544 graphics; 1GB of RAM; a 2,000mAh battery; and 8- and 2-megapixel rear and front cameras into the mix, and you're in for a treat.
The icing on the cake is the dual-SIM phone's P9,590 price tag. There's more: If you get the MyPhone A919i Duo at MyPhone's SM City North EDSA branch tomorrow, you'll only need to cough up P7,900.
Is that a trickle of drool we're seeing?
