MANILA, Philippines - Actor Raymart Santiago is no longer living with wife Claudine Barretto and their two children.
In an article published on The Philippine Star on Wednesday, Inday Barretto, the mother of Claudine, confirmed that Santiago is no longer staying at the couple's house at an exclusive village in Quezon City.
"Yes, it is true," Inday told entertainment journalist Ricky Lo.
Asked if it's for a cooling off period only, Inday replied: "Sana."
Inday said she is praying that Santiago and her daughter can still fix their differences.
She also defended Claudine against the alleged accusations of older sister Gretchen Barretto.
"But if God wills it to be permanent, huwag naman sana. But still, our life is not in our hands! So, Gretchen, do you also want to include God in your 'bashing' and drip your perfumed saliva for the misfortune of your sister?" she said.
Without confirming reports that they have already seperated, Santiago earlier admitted that like any other family, theirs is not perfect.
