The new system of NBI wherein customers can apply NBI Clearance online and eliminates wasted time falling in line. NBI clearance can be easily done online and skip 3 steps of the manual old way. These 3 steps are Data Verification, Payment to the Cashier and Filling out the Application Form. No more long queue lines. No more wasted time waiting for your turn. There are procedures on how to successfully apply for a clearance. First is to pay an amount in their accredited partners (Pinoy Pera Padala and GCash). After payment you need to signup in their website.
The only disadvantage or draw back from the new system is it delays you for a day because of the Scheduling Task as to when to visit your selected NBI Clearance Outlet where you process your online application.

Payment Scheme – Where should we pay?
The NBI Clearance Online Application starts from Payment of your application.
First, you need to know where to pay the appropriate fees. NBI gives us two (2) options to pay for the NBI Clearance Application Fees. This can be done through:
Pinoy Pera Padala (PPP) or
Globe GCash
In using PPP, just tell the cashier that you are paying for your NBI Clearance Fees. Keep your receipt and take note of the Reference number. This number will be used in your registration of your account in NBI Clearance Online Website.
In using Globe GCash, you can simply go to the nearest Globe center and pay the right amount for your NBI Clearance.
You can also use your own GCash account if you have one by sending the correct amount to 28829175638053.
To use your own GCash, text (space) MPIN and send to 28829175638053

I guess the major take away on this part is to take note the reference number that you will be receiving. This would be your ticket to a successful registration of your account in NBI Clearance Website!
NBI Clearance Fees – How much do we need to pay?
Applicants must pay the exact amount of NBI Clearance Fees plus a convenience fee of P25 according to their purpose of application. That means, the fees presented below is inclusive of the convenience fees! If you are in doubt, call their hotline and ask them. The amounts below are the total amount to be paid. Example, if you get an NBI Clearance Travel purpose using the old or manual way. You will pay P115. But if you try to apply for it online, you add P25 for convenience fee. Making it a total of P140 (which is clearly written below).
Excess and short payments will not be processed and are considered void and forfeited. That means you just wasted your money, so be careful on paying the amount. The list of purposes and the fees is listed below:
