Magnitude 5.4 Earthquake rockc Malimono, Surigao del Norte

Breaking News: Magnitude 5.4 earthquake hit Malimono, Surigao del Norte on March 17, 2014 1:30 PM. It was not confirmed whether there are damaged made by the earthquake because the LGU's still inspecting the area hit by magnitude 5.4 earthquake.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the quake was located at 15 kilometers (km) southwest of Malimono, Surigao del Norte. It was felt at Intensity 5 in Placer, Surigao del Norte; Intensity 4 in Surigao City and Intensity 3 in Butuan City.
