Vhong Navarro new movie "Da Possessed" with Solenn Heussaff.
"Da Possessed," a joint project of Star Cinema and Regal Films, will hit cinemas on April 19.
Written by Athena Aringo-Tengco, Ays De Guzman and Antoinette Jadaone, the movie tells the story of Ramon "who falls for his sexy boss but conflict begins when spirits from another world start to possess his body thus igniting a series of wacky and riotous events."
"Sobra po akong nagpapasalamat sa walang-sawang suporta na nakukuha ko mula sa ABS-CBN, Star Cinema, at sa aking mga tagahanga. Siniguro po namin na talagang magugustuhan ng lahat ang 'Da Possessed.' Dapat po sama-sama tayong mag-enjoy at tumawa," said Navarro, who is also one of the hosts of the ABS-CBN noontime show "It's Showtime."
His leading lady in the film, Solenn Heussaff, for her part said: "This is definitely a major milestone in my career… It’s such an honor to work with Vhong, Direk Joyce and Star Cinema in this awesome project."
"Da Possessed" also serves as the reunion project of Navarro and Joyce Bernal, who directed the comedian's hit films including "Mr. Suave" (2003), "D' Anothers" (2005) and "Agent X44" (2007).
Other cast members include John "Sweet" Lapus, Empoy, Smokey Manaloto, Beverly Salviejo, Lito Pimentel, Joy Viado, Matet De Leon, Aaliyah Belmoro, and Joey Marquez.
