Big Transport Strike in Cebu on July 21, 2014 - Against Administrative Order

Big transport strike is set on July 21, 2014 in Cebu. Drivers and operators will have transport strike lead by Union against Join Administrative Order (JAO) 2014-01. National Confederation of Transport workers union Cebu chairperson Romeo Armamento said that the strike was agreed by operators and officers of jeepney, taxi, minibus, buses.

Over 10,000 PUV will join the transport strike on July 21, 2014 which will clearly paralyze the transportation in Cebu specially Cebu, City. Armamento said that they will send memorandum to the LGUs, Private offices and schools unlike previous transport strike last June 19, 2014 that made many employees and students late. He said that they will send letters so that there will be lesser people affected from the strike.
