Breaking News: Magnitude 5.3 earthquake hit Southern Leyte on July 25, 2014 Friday morning. The epicenter of the earthquake was in 4km southwest of Hinundayan, Leyte. There were no immediate reports of injuries and damages brought by the earthquake.

Local officials in the area are now conducting surveys and observation on the areas hit by the magnitude 5.3 earthquake. Philvolcs said that there are aftershocks to follows. All are advised to monitor the current situation.
