Natural disasters such as typhoons and earthquakes are common in Japan as it sits in the Pacific Ring of Fire and one of countries in Asia that frequently experienced tropical storms but one of its worst natural disaster after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. In the city of Hiroshima, residents experienced its worst floods in history, most people described that they have never seen anything like this before.

See How This Japanese City Devastated by Its Worst Natural Disaster After Failed Evacuation Advisory
The City of Hiroshima in Japan, the site of the 1994 Hiroshima Asian Games, experienced its worst natural disaster when a landslides triggered by torrential rain slammed into the outskirts of the western portion of the city.
According to the latest report of the Japanese national government a total of 36 people were killed in Japan on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. After the flooding and landslides, Japanese helicopters clattered overhead, lifting out survivors of the natural disaster, rescue workers also searched through mud and piles of stones in residential areas affected by flooding.
Based upon the latest reports by various news media organizations covering the worst floods in Japan, the landslides pushed some houses by 100 meters, a knee-high thick mud also hampered the rescue efforts of the Japanese government.
Some residents blamed the Hiroshima city authorities as they issued an evacuation advisory late, the notice was released about an hour after the first landslide hit the areas on Wednesday.
