Super Typhoon Jose (Halong) Threatens Philippines, Japan - August 2014 Update

Super typhoon Jose(Halong) intensifies as it gets closer to Philippines. Super typhoon Jose now has 185kph wind and gustness up to 220kph (August 3, 2014). Typhoon Halong maintains its speed of 11kph and will get closer to Philippines by Tuesday.

Super typhoon Jose (Halong) will not make landfall in the Philippines but it's still threatens northern Luzon. Halong will then go straight to Japan and may bring destruction to the country. Japan is now preparing for the possible coming of Halong and early warning and advises are given to the residents.
