PAGASA also noted that the latest weather disturbance will bring heavy rains in the regions of Eastern and Central Visayas which could trigger flashfloods and landslides, and light to moderate rains and thunderstorms in the region of the Western Visayas, CARAGA, Northern Mindanao and Zamboanga Peninsula.
Aside from reporting the LPA in the Visayas Region, PAGASA also warned the residents in areas affected by the LPA and its neighboring cities and provinces are advised to be alert and take all the necessary precautionary measures and monitor updates on the weather disturbance.
The local disaster and risk reduction management councils in affected areas are already issuing warning among its residents. PAGASA also noted that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms.
According to PAGASA if the Low Pressure Area will develop into a tropical storm it will be named locally as Bagyong Kanor once it enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
