KZ Tandingan's "Mahal Ko O Mahal Ako" Won Best Himig Handog Pop Love Song 2014 - Full Results List
''Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako'' by Edwin Marollano won Best Song in the Himig Handog Pinoy Pop Love Songs 2014 finals night held Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.
The composer said the song, which is about a woman's dilemma over two lovers—the one she loves and the one who loves her, is based on a true story of his friend.
Singer KZ Tandingan interpreted the song.
Meanwhile, the 2nd Best Song, ''Halik Sa Hangin,'' was composed by David Dimaguila and interpreted by Biv De Vera, Ebe Dancel and Abra.

The song, according to the composer, is about his childhood sweetheart who left the town and later on died in a car accident.
He said the song helped him recover from the pain caused by the tragedy.
Meanwhile, ''Mahal Kita Pero'' by Melchora Mabilog won the 3rd Best Song.
The song tells the story of a girl who is in love with a guy, but is not allowed by her parents to be in a relationship until she finishes her studies.
It was interpreted by Janella Salvador during the finals night.
