The Hunger Games actress has had a tough few weeks after nude photos of her were leaked online by an anonymous hacker. But the news that she managed to knock former Twilight Saga actress Kristen Stewart off the top spot as the most stylish star, will surely have put a smile on the 24-year-old's face.
Kristen, also 24, held the top spot for two consecutive years in the list compiled by Glamour magazine, but slipped to third this year after Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o grabbed second place. This comes after a successful run of red carpet appearances throughout 2014, as she picked up a slew of awards for her role in 12 Years a Slave.
Former Harry Potter star Emma Watson was the highest ranking British star, taking fourth place, with ex-Gossip Girl Blake Lively coming in fifth.
Newlywed Angelina Jolie was sixth, with the Duchess of Cambridge coming in at a potentially surprising seventh place, considering how lauded her style is. The top ten was rounded out by Katy Perry, Jennifer Aniston and The Amazing Spider-Man star Emma Stone.
"It's not just what she wears, it's how she wears it," the magazine said of their number one woman Jennifer. "J-Law makes a Dior gown look as comfy as sweatpants, and wears the hell out of both."
Eccentric dresser Lady Gaga was just outside the top ten at number 11, while designer Victoria Beckham was 15th. The first model to appear on the list is Cara Delevingne, who managed to secure the 24th spot.
The list, which is compiled by Glamour's readers, also chose the world's best-dressed man, giving the honour to Thor star Tom Hiddleston, followed by fellow British actor Robert Pattinson, David Beckham, Benedict Cumberbatch and Henry Cavill.
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were crowned best-dressed couple, followed by Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Victoria and David Beckham and Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z.
