A waterspout was caught on video by Bayan Patroller Jhelay Gatdula in Barangay Baclaran in Balayan, Batangas on Wednesday afternoon.

Although it caused concern among local residents, the waterspout did not cause damage because it struck the sea.

A waterspout is a tornado-like vortex that occurs over a body of water.
