Miss Pia Wurtzbach won Miss Universe-Philippines recently but parallel to that is the rumors about her relationship with Philippine President Aquino. Even Kris Aquino asked Pia if she's dating with her brother.
The blooming lovelife of PNoy is one of the hottest topic in social media and infact it's like you won a lotto dahil ang ganda ni Miss Pia Wurtzbach.
"Maghintay muna kayo dahil matagal ko ring hinintay 'to, eh. Mas importante 'to sa akin!" said Wurtzbach, who won the title last Sunday after three consecutive tries.
Speaking with ABS-CBN News' Mario Dumaual, the Culinary Arts graduate clarified her ties with Younghusband, who was among the first celebrities to congratulate her on her win.
"We're friends. Hindi 'to showbiz, I'm not nagpapaka-showbiz na sagot, pero magkaibigan lang po talaga kami," said Wurtzbach, who is also a Star Magic artist.
Asked for her reaction that President Aquino is supposedly "interested" in her, a smiling Wurtzbach only said, "Same answer," referring to making her suitors wait.
A week before the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night, rumors surfaced that Wurtzbach and Aquino were spotted having dinner together at a Quezon City restaurant.
Wurtzbach did not confirm whether the President has expressed interest in her.
While the beauty queen said Aquino's reported interest in her is "flattering," she emphasized that she is focused on her upcoming Miss Universe bid.
"Kakapanalo ko pa lang, it's only been two days," she said. "This is my first day as Miss Universe-Philippines and right now there's nothing I can think of but the training and preparation that I have to do. I'm looking forward to it."
