President Aquino declared July 17, 2015 Friday a regular holiday in observance of Eidul Fitr of Muslim religion.
NOTE: Eid ul-Fitr is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
It will be a long weekend for every Filipino working in the country. Palace warned that those who will be working on that day will be payed additional 100 %. DOLE pay rules will be observed and for those employers who are not complying will be penalized under the law.
