Canyoneering in Canlaob River in Alegria Cebu is Suspended by Government Starting June 1, 2016

Canyoneering in Alegria, Cebu, the most thrill adventure in Cebu was suspended starting June 1, 2016 to August 1. The suspension was ordered due to the high numbers of injuries and no limitations from citizens and adventurers in the area.

#‎Cebu‬ Gov. Hilario P. Davide III issues Executive Order TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING all related activities in ‪#‎canyoneering‬ adventure sites in Barangay Compostela, ‪#‎Alegria‬ town and in Barangay Matutinao, ‪#‎Badian‬ town as PDRRMO "formulates policies and strict guidelines to ensure the safety of residents and tourists in the sites. The temporary suspension takes effect starting June 1, 2016 until August 1, 2016.
