Daniel Padilla will be killed by Duterte accoedig to the headline of one tabloid which news became viral and trending online May 16, 2016.

The tabloid's headline "Kalat na: Danilla papatayin ni Duterte causes stirs in social media". One of the friends of Daniel, Dominic Rea lambasts to the misleading title and said it is unfair kasi baka akalain ng mga tao na totoong papatayin eh! title lang pala namislead.
