Cagayan De Oro City hit by Heavy Flash Floods, Under State of Calamity

 Cagayan De Oro City was hit by heavy flash floods on January 16, 2017 and is being declared by State of Calamity. Millions of property were damaged and hundreds of residents were trapped. The floods was brought by heavy rainfall for more than 8 hours.

Mindanao was under red warning (heavy rainfall) due to the LPA in Eastern Visayas.

Photos and videos of the floods were being uploaded and shared online.
