Powerful Magnitude 6.7 Earthquake hit Surigao City - Feb 10, 2017

Powerful magnitude 6.7 earthquake shook Surigao City on February 10, 2017. The earthquake was felt by thousands in the region. There were no immediate reports of casualties but damages were reported.

Updates: As of 10 am Feb 11,  15 dead, 90 injured due to the #SurigaoQuake, says Surigao disaster risk management council.



No tsunami alert was released by Phivolcs and several people were panicked. Officials are now assessing situation in the area.
