Breaking: Powerful Magnitude 5.5 Earthquake hit Kalilangan, Bukidnon Province Wednesday morning

A powerful magnitude 5.5 earthquake hit Kalilangan town in Bukidnon Province Wednesday, April 12, 2017. It was felt by thousands of residents in the region.



There werd no immediate reports of damages and injuries but Phivolcs warned of aftershocks.

The quake, which is tectonic in origin, occurred at 5:21 a.m. with the epicenter located six kilometers east of Kalilangan town.

Intensity IV was felt in the cities of Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Cotabato.

There were powerful earthquakes that shook the country in the previous days like the M6.0 in Batangas that damages several infrastructures.
