Breaking: A powerful magnitude 7.3 earthquake hit Davao Occidental, General Santos City in Mindanao April 29, 2017, Phivolcs says.

Updates: Several establishments including building were collapsed during the 7.2 earthquake. Phivolcs just cancelled its tsunami alert.

The earthquake shook the region and people got panic and scared.

The quake was felt in many provinces in Mindanao.

Officials are now assessing the situation or determining how large the damages it cost. There were reports of injuries due to Magnitude 7.2 earthquake.
