Updates: Hurricane Irma in its Category 5 that has over 185 mph of strength to hit Florida and other part of United States by weekend. It is believed that several country like Puerto Rico, Haiti and Cuba will be ravaged first before hitting Florida on September 9-10, 2017.

Several officials from other different cities advised to take cover and shelter as powerful hurricane Irma is coming on the way. "May God Protect Us All".


Hurricane Irma is now the strongest and powerful hurricane ever recorded in Atlantic Ocean. There are only few powerful hurricane ever recorded in this ocean and Irma added on the list.

The most powerful Atlantic Ocean hurricane in recorded history bore down on the islands of the north-east Caribbean on Tuesday (September 5, 2017) night local time, following a path predicted to then rake Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Cuba before possibly heading for Florida over the weekend.

The United Nations says as many as 37 million people could be affected by Hurricane Irma, Associated Press reports:

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said the UN had deployed a humanitarian team to work with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency to help hurricane victims, and additional teams are on standby.

Dujarric told reporters at UN headquarters in New York on Wednesday that UN officials in Haiti are supporting the government and have deployed staff to the country’s northern departments, which are likely to be impacted.

He said UN peacekeepers, who are wrapping up their long-term mission there, have deployed two units and some engineers to the coastal city of Gonaives to be ready to open the main roads to the north, northeast and northwest.

Dujarric said UN military and police officers are also ready to be deployed to support the Haitian national police.
