Yolanda (Haiyan) is now a typhoon and gaining strength to become Super Typhoon, may hit Philippines by Friday November 8, 2013. The US Navy Typhoon Center warns Philippines and advice to be prepared for the coming of Super Typhoon Haiyan. Typhoon Yolanda may sustain winds at least 150mph or 240kph.
If it will hit by Friday, millions of people will be affected including the 12 million living in capital city, Manila. Typhoon Yolanda will possibly landfall in parts of Eastern Visayas particularly in Bicol and Samar. Cebu, Negros and other places told to become alert.
Typhoon Haiyan, roughly 500 miles south-southeast of Yap, is gathering strength in a favorable environment of light winds aloft and warm sea-surface temperatures.
