Two million Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and Yahoo passwords stolen

Two million Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and Yahoo passwords were stolen in a massive security breach via malicious keylogging software installed all over the world.
According to cybersecurity firm Trustwave a virus that infected an undisclosed number of devices over the past month were able to acquire usernames and passwords and send them back to hackers located in Netherlands.
Among account credentials that were compromised also include LinkedIn, ADP and Odnoklassniki (a Russian social networking site).
Trustwave already informed the concerned companies about the breach. There is no information however if the compromised accounts were indeed used. “We don’t have evidence they logged into these accounts, but they probably did,” said John Miller, a security research manager at Trustwave.
ADP, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter users whose accounts were compromised were already prompted to change their login credentials. Other websites are expected to follow the move.
