Dillinger-Abueva confrontation

Jared Dillinger and Abueva were awarded double technicals early in the fourth quarter after a tense scuffle. Abueva blocked Dillinger's drive and attempted to swat his face too as they both fell into the stands. A furious Dillinger, bleeding from the nose, got up and pinned Abueva down on the court's railings before they were separated by officials and players alike.

Two minutes into the fourth quarter, Meralco's Jared Dillinger went up for a layup but was met by a hand to the face from Alaska's Calvin Abueva. Both Dillinger and Abueva went tumbling out of bounds, with Abueva's elbow meeting square on Dillinger's nose.

Dillinger immediately spun around and choked Abueva, perhaps believing the blow to be intentional. Abueva's teammate Jayvee Casio was first to respond and break up the melee, from which Dillinger emerged with a busted nose. Abueva emerged from the altercation with a smirk and a chuckle.(rappler)
