Zanjoe Marudo Denies Friendship with Deniece Cornejo

Zanjoe Marudo denied relation or being friend with Deniece Cornejo. Zanjoe Marudo said he never met Deniece in a shoe store as what Deniece said in her affidavit. Deniece Cornejo was the one who filed raped complaint against Zanjoe Marudo's friend Vhong Navarro

In her sworn affidavit, Deniece said Zanjoe was the one who approached her first the day she first met Vhong. They were in a shoe store and the "It's Showtime" host kept on looking at her and following her. While she was looking for shoes for her brothers, Zanjoe apparently approached her and asked her if the shoes she's choosing is for her boyfriend. Deniece did not say how she answered Zanjoe's questions. But during the press conference for "Annaliza," Zanjoe denied knowing or meeting Deniece. He is aware that there was an issue about him with regards to Deniece, but he just chose to ignore it. Bea Alonzo, his girlfriend, asked him about it. He told her it's nothing and that it's not true. They didn't talk about it again. "Wala akong kinalaman doon. Tapos wala na, hindi na namin napag-usapan."
