Nurse Tapes Mouth of Newborn Baby in Cebu Maternity Hospital - May 2014 [UPDATE]

UPDATE: Newborn child's mouth in Cebu covered with tape/plaster in Cebu Maternity Hospital discovered by parents on May 9, 2014. The news became viral online and became headlines in news sites. According to reports that the reason why nurse taped the mouth of the child was it never stops crying. The hospital is conducting an investigation about the incident and DOH also conducting separate investigation.

The hospital said that the nurse has already been suspended. The hospital did not released and revealed the name of the nurse.
