The fight between Vetyeka and Donaire was stopped before round 5 due to the cut in the left eye of Donaire during first round. The officials decided not to continue the fight and declare the winner for the 4 rounds. The judges scores all in-favor of Nonito Donaire. Donaire was awarded by unanimous technical decision.
