MANILA - Panic ensued inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house over the loss of consciousness of contestant Vickie Rushton, who had to be carried to the confession room for medical attention.
In the episode of the reality show that aired Wednesday, the housemates had just finished an obstacle course, which determined nominees for eviction, when Vickie passed out after complaining of dizziness.

Fellow housemate Daniel Matsunaga, who was standing beside Vickie, carried the 21-year-old in his arms and brought her to the confession room. Big Brother informed the housemates that medical assistance was on its way.
After getting checked by a doctor, Vickie was cleared to be in good condition and was then escorted by male housemates, including Daniel, into the living room.
Dr. Alma Cristina Andin, who attended to Vickie, explained that she had an episode of syncope. It is when a patient, according to Andin, is confronted with an "intense situation -- for example, pain, excitement, emotions -- na nagkakaroon ng transient decrease sa blood supply sa brain."
"Pero it's okay, mababalik agad," she added.
Later in the episode, the housemates made light of the incident as they told Vickie about Daniel's apparent concern for her. Vickie laughed upon finding out that Daniel was visibly panicked and even told her to "stay with me" while she was unconscious.
Daniel and Vickie have been teased romantically by the housemates.
Vickie, however, is in a relationship with actor Jason Abalos, with whom she is trying to resolve issues even while still inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house.
"Pinoy Big Brother: All In" airs weeknights on Primetime Bida, and on Saturdays and Sundays as part of ABS-CBN's Yes! Weekend line-up. Afternoon updates are also aired via "Uber" on weekdays.
