Typhoon Jenny to Enter Philippines on September 24, 2015

Updates: Typhoon Jenny "Dujuan" to enter Philippines (PAR) on September 24, 2015 which may bring heavy rains in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Jenny has a 65kph of wind and gustiness up to 85kph which may still gain strength  as it traverse Pacific Ocean.

AT 10:00 am today, the center of Tropical Storm outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) with international name “Dujuan” was estimated based on all available data at 1,570 km East of Northern Luzon (18.1˚N, 136.5˚E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 85 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 9 kph.

The Tropical Storm is expected to be inside the PAR at 1,370 Km East of Aparri, Cagayan and will be named “Jenny” by tomorrow Morning. By Friday morning, it is expected to be at 1,230 km East of Calayan Island, Cagayan. By Saturday morning, it is expected to be at 1,050 km East of Itbayat, Batanes. By Sunday morning, it is expected to be outside the PAR at 1,070 km East of Itbayat, Batanes. And by Monday morning, it is expected to be at 1,200 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
